Evolution
Well, it's been a while i haven't written something on my journal,
probably because i was quite busy with my exhibitions, my school work, my job & co...
I think the end of the month will be extremely busy!
I'm starting the SPP essay which is quite complicated.
But the worst is that since march we don't have a lot of courses which is quite perturbating...
so, I'm just lost with my projects now, I don't know if I'll finish everything on time, I'm scared for the video, I haven't shot it yet, I have the place, the crew, need some few more actors, but I really have to shoot it the next two weeks. Not sure I'll finish it on time!
But during Eastern it's impossible for me, because i'm in France, to concretely work on that coursework, and before it was impossible neither.
Finger crossed, energy needed, good computers and everything's gonna be alright!
These are some pictures of my exhibition is Switzerland, it was really enjoyable, mad and interesting!

Blog Exercises
1- Lenses theory and Medium distinctions. Lens operation, characteristics and depth of field.
Wide angle : The frame is very large, with that lense (16mm) we can see almost everything around the composition. That means that the composition can't be really revealed because there are other things around (the set, walls, ground...). That kind of lense is good to shoot the atmosphere of the whole place.
Normal : The normal lense is a 50mm, it's closed to the human vision. That lense is good to show what the character see because it's closer to his own vision. The frame is interesting because all the composition is inside. We can see everything, because I was far enough from the composition (obviously, I stayed at the same place to take the pictures with the different lenses).
Teleobjective : I have a 55-200mm lense, so I tried only the 55mm one because a bigger zoom is useless in a room, that kind of lense is good to be used in a gig, or outside. But, for that work, I tried with the 55mm one and it was ok, not so blurred, but very framed, good to take some very small details of the composition.
7. Sequence of stills with mixed audio track
For the Radar festival I worked on a video for The Kills which was a stop motion video with stills images, with repetitions, rewinds & co. I will work on these pictures and edit it again, choosing 12 images, a new soundtrack and a diegetic sound.

Back to France...
Well,
the 1st term is finished, and I'm back home (herr, my parents' home I mean, I consider ,now, my life based in England, definitely). It's strange, because I didn't pay attention that the time could be so fast, I remember when I'm arrived in october, it's just like if it was yesterday.
I suppose there's some consequences on my work, the rythm of the school is sooo different to my formar school ( about 36hours/week ), this is probably why I feel I didn't achieve a lot of work, and it's really hard to adapt to this new method of work. I'm not feel satisfied of my work, I think it could be better. I hope I will work harder for the 2d term ( and not be attracted by the amazing life in uk, my photograph and music video work !! )...
I promised to Jools to bring an absolutely expensive present from France... I will try.
